CellQuant - quantitative assays based on fluorescent marker cell lines

Peter Nick
Our panel of fluorescent marker cell lines allows to determine the mode of action of novel compounds.

Objective

New compounds targeted to plants or plant. These can be new candidates for novel herbicides, but also candidates for plant protection compounds to promote plant defence against pathogens.

What do we offer?

We have developed fluorescently tagged marker cell lines for numerous cellular targets such as cytoskeleton, auxin transport, nucleus, membrane and vesicle systems that allow to follow the effect of a candidate compound in real time. This cell culture collection is part of a platform that also comprises high-end microscopy (so called spinning disc confocal microscopy) quantitative tests for numerous aspects of cellular physiology. This allows to precisely determine the mode of action of candidate compounds.
