Microfluidic chip for observation of immunoregulating signals
Within the Interreg Project DialogProtec I have been working since July 2019 at characterising signals used by cells to communicate with each other. We are planning to use microfluidic chips to flexibly setup systems of communication between plant - fungus, fungus - plant, plant - plant or fungus - fungus, to identify signalling molecules.
These molecules could potentially be used to improve plant protection and protect our environment by reducing the use of fungicides.
